The sacrifice of the military spouse makes to support their partner is routinely overlooked. Disrupting home life with frequent moves, acclimating children to wildly different communities, and trying to find employment are the “easy” things. Add worry about a spouse deployed to a combat zone, and everything is challenging. The Hal and Julie Moore “command team” set an example during two brutal wars, and provide an inspiration to those currently serving.
